"i agree with crackheadtrent"
i noticed that punks hate when someone calls their band(especially when it is emo) punk, i mean you wouldn't call trance death metal right?..anyways in your defense i know alot of people call their bands punk for the reason that it'll get more attention than calling it what it really is (emo or indie or whatever that pussified shit goes by now) anyways i gave you a 3 for good quality and even good lyrics for people that like that sorta thing but minus points for calling it punk, but you know what, maybe that's what you really think is punk..just remember to look for music outside of what MTV or whatever the radio gets paid to play..wow i went on a rant sorry man, but maybe you'll learn to make more aggressive energetic music then you can call it punk

for sure, man, thanks for your opinion. i know plenty about the punk you're talking about. if crackheadtrent wasn't so busy being self-righteous and just laid it out like you did, i would have explained it to him. i had a membership for 5 years at gilman in berkeley when i was younger, and it's one of the most hardcore punk venues on the planet. i understand where you're coming from. aratic is definitely not a punk band. period. but it's all semantics on NG. They had a limited number of options to label the genre with, and pop punk wasn't an option, so you've gotta call it something. i'm gonna catch a lotta heat for the emotions in the song; i know that, and i'm not sorry. i don't sit around in my room all day crying myself to sleep, but i wrote a song, and I meant what I wrote, so fuck it. in the meanwhile, thanks for your thoughts, man.
